If a picture is worth a thousand words then it also conveys just as many emotions, likely more. And from those words and emotions comes a story that's told each time a person lays eyes on it.
I had always loved taking photos with my cellphone while roaming the streets of NYC but the idea of stepping up to a real camera seemed out of reach and highly intimidating. On the flip side, I felt limited and stifled using just my phone to capture those decisive moments. I got over my fear and got a real camera and from the first press of the shutter, I was hooked.
This site is evolving collection of real-life images that happen all around us every day. Because all around us there are stories unfolding and the power of an image can capture and tell it all. As I go out and about in NYC and around the world with my camera, I grow as a person. And along with that, I also grow as a photographer and storyteller. I don't consider myself a "professional" but rather someone with an eye for real life who deeply connects to it through photography. From that, the professional results come to life.
